JSC “Sakuona” is located near Klaipėda (Lithuanian Seaport) and belongs to VMG group.
"Sakuona", established in 1995, today is one of the main vertically integrated IKEA suppliers of layer glued products from birch. 95 % of total volume is sold to IKEA and remaining 5 % - to other European and local customers.
- The main products of the company are: bed frames, bed slats and complete bed bases.
- The company also produces veneer, needed for the production of bed slats.
- Implemented investments in a new production equipment in 2012 will increase "Sakuona's" capacity up to 60 %, from 18.000 m³ to 28.000 m³ a year and will launch new and more advanced producion line.
- Now the company employs close to 450 qualified employees.
