- JSC “VMG ekspedicija” was found in 2005.
- Company’s main activities are the production and sales of technological chips.
- The company also provides freight services by ground and expedition services for various Lithuanian, EU, and Mid Asian Former Soviet Union countries.
- The company purchases timber from various Lithuanian Forestries as well as from private forests. This timber is then chipped into technological chips and sold to several Lithuanian factories.
- After formation of a new maintenance department within VMGE, the company took over preventive maintenane, equipment instalation, spare parts' supply and repairs in "Klaipėdos mediena" and "Sakuona".
- Now VMGE employs over 125 highly professional maintenance specialists.
